THE MAHONING CREEK BIGFOOT PROJECT was formed in 2009 to investigate reports of Sasquatch type creatures existing in the Mahoning Creek area of western Pennsylvania. This creek is a tributary of the Allegheny River that flows through southern Jefferson, Armstrong and Clarion Counties and northern Indiana County. This area is mainly rural and excellent habitat for deer, bear, coyote and other wildlife.There have been several Bigfoot sighting reports from this area in recent years.
